Father’s Day Opening! June 16, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — medartag @ 6:00 pm

Man we are so excited about this Sunday! It’s Father’s Day!!! Woo Hoo! Ok, just kidding about being overly excited about that. Although, it’s an exciting day for us dad’s. But what I’m most excited about is we will be in our new sanctuary! There’s a lot of stuff to be done this week but we should be good to go! Here’s just a few more pictures of what’s happening. The sod guys are sweating it out to get the sod down.  Painters are still doing touch up stuff & the audio, video & lighting guys are getting it ready for us to rock out! God is so good! Wednesday night will be our last night in the “old” sanctuary. That sounds funny doesn’t it? Well, enjoy!

Final Weeks! June 3, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — medartag @ 6:23 pm

Man, we are so close I can taste it! I know it’s been a while since my last post so I apologize. So much has been going on around here.  There are many things getting done. Tons of little polish stuff happening even now as I type this. The workers have been going hard to get ready for final inspections. Many of these guys will finish up this week. Next week we plan to start setting the rooms up, chairs put in place in the sanctuary, sound & lighting checks, etc…  All to get ready for the big day, JUNE 21st. On Father’s Day, we plan to have our first service in the new sanctuary! Please make sure to attend. It will be awesome! Once we are in and settled, Pastor will set a date for our “Grand Opening/Dedication Service”.  I can’t wait!  Here are a TON of pictures to catch you up on where we are as of this morning, so enjoy!

Steady Progression May 11, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — medartag @ 1:43 pm

Man, when is this going to be done?  Things are still moving forward though.  They keep telling us we’re coming down the final stretch.  But to me the final stretch is when we are moving furniture into the building and setting up the chairs.  Please continue to pray for this transition as we are getting close.  I hope that you are as excited as we are.  There are still many things to be done, but God has His timing.  Just remember His provision comes through us! Please pray about what you can do to help support this next chapter in the life of Medart Assembly.

Things are on a steady roll around here. Today, site work was being done to get ready for the landscape guys (Todd & Pat) can get started.  Also, we got guys in the sanctuary getting ready to start hanging the ceiling tiles.  Painting is still going on as well. Electricians have been a permanent fixture around here (pun intended).  Continue to pray over our building and the lives that are going to fill it!!

Sanctuary Update: April 22, 2009 April 22, 2009

We are getting so close! The excitement is building & I can’t wait until we get to rock it out in our new sanctuary.  It’s going to be incredible.  Things are still moving right along. While we don’t have a move in date set in stone, we are looking for the 2nd or 3rd week in May. So please continue to pray that things go well from here on out. We now have a side walk from the back door of our current building to the new sanctuary.  Air conditioning units are being installed, painters are now on the ground with everything primed and today they started adding the color. I hope you enjoy the pictures below & will continue to pray over this project. We know that God has greater things in store for us!

The Ant Hill March 31, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — medartag @ 7:58 pm

Well, I know it’s been a loooooong time since my last update. I apologize.  I was without my camera for a while, and there was a long period where the work being done was wire pulling & tiny projects that you just couldn’t really see.  So, now we are back in full swing and today looked like someone stepped into a big ant hill.  There were workers on top of workers.  I’ve got some exciting pictures below to show you where we are now.  The bad news is that we will NOT be in the new sanctuary by Easter.  So our new goal is to be in around early May.  Just 1 more Easter in a cramped sanctuary and then finally some breathing room.  For a little while anyway ;-) .  Enjoy the photos!

A little catch up! February 25, 2009

Hey guys, here’s a few of the latest pictures. As you can see, there’s a LOT that’s going to happen in order to get us in by Easter. So please continue to pray for the workers! Pray for the Easter service coming up & the LOST people that will darken our door step that day!

Wow what a change! February 3, 2009

Well things are rocking and rolling! Holy Rolling that is.  These guys are going to town. It’s incredible what’s being done & accomplished at an incredible speed.  God’s hand is at work on this church. Continue to pray over the construction workers. They are being ministered to everyday as they work around all the scriptures we’ve bathed this building in.  We’re about winning the lost at any cost.  Enjoy the pictures!

WOW! January 21, 2009

Man, it’s amazing the amount of work that has been done since last week.  I’ve stayed out of the church since last week and man was I blown away.  These guys are getting it done!  Please continue to pray for these workers. I’ve got one that’s close to coming to church and visiting with us. As you can see in the pictures a lot is going on. We’ve got the sheet rock guys hanging away, the framers building our baptistery, plumbing guys working on our sprinkler system.  Keep praying and giving to this project.  I know that God has some cool stuff up His sleeve for Medart A/G!

Man, every time I walk out to the new building, they are doing something else. It’s awesome to see new progress all the time. Now the guys doing the sheet rock are starting to do their thing.  It’s fixing to really start looking different in there.
